Shenley Brook End School, in Walbank Grove, said today (Wednesday, October 14) that a group of pupils which came into contact with the infected person have been sent home to self-isolate.
The secondary school said relevant classrooms have already been made Covid-secure and that further deep cleaning will take place.

A school spokesperson said: "At the start of term the school implemented a new timetable, a staggered day and new routines to limit movement around the building and to keep year groups separate.
"Parents are aware that in response to Covid-19, all surfaces in the building have been cleaned and protected using an innovative cleaning system which provides long lasting surface protection which continues to fight the virus long after conventional cleaning products have become inert."
The school's first positive case was reported by this newspaper on Friday (September 18), where a group of students were again sent home to self-isolate.
