It is supported by the European Social Fund and offers training in business management and leadership skills, together with an opportunity to achieve the Chartered Management Institute’s Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management.

It’s not available for Luton postcodes LU1-LU4.

Daniel Nicholls, project manager of Skills for Growth at the university said: “We’ve designed this course with small business owners in mind.

“This programme, delivered by experienced entrepreneurs who understand the challenges small businesses in Bedfordshire face, will provide delegates with the opportunity not only to gain the Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management, but also learn how to utilise project management tools, make effective use of financial controls and apply business-wide innovation to help grow their business.”
