Two weeks ahead of further restrictions being lifted across the nation, Milton Keynes Coronavirus case numbers continue to improve.

Today's data shows just three new Covid cases were confirmed across the entire borough. Once again, no deaths were recorded in Milton Keynes that could be linked to a positive Coronavirus case confirmed in the previous 28 days.

It's the fourth straight day where five or less cases have been confirmed in Milton Keynes, after 13 positive tests were returned during the Bank Holiday weekend.

Due to a continued fall in new cases across Milton Keynes, the city's infection rate has dropped to 17.8 cases per 100,000. By comparison the overall UK average is higher at 22.6 cases per 100,000.

The total data for the UK shows 1,946 new cases have been confirmed in the past 24 hours and four new Covid-linked deaths have been reported.
