Covid-19 count rises to 117 people in Milton Keynes

The number of people who tested positive for Covid-19 has risen to 117 today.

This is an increase of 11 since yesterday (Tuesday).

The number of untested people with coronavirus on MK is still unknown, but is thought to be considerably higher.

The death toll for Milton Keynes is still 11, though sadly an official update announcing more deaths is expected later this week.

The Department of Health say, as of 9am today, a total of 152,979 people have been tested throughout the UK . Of these, 29,474 tested positive.

There has been 2,352 deaths nationally.

This is an increase of 563 – or 31 per cent – from the 1,789 deaths reported yesterday.
