Free rapid Covid tests available to all Milton Keynes residents at Central Library

Starting today (March 22) rapid tests can be collected from Central Library in Milton Keynes.

Milton Keynes residents can collect up to 14 rapid tests from Central Library.

The library which is being used as a rapid test centre, will also be a collection point for Covid tests.

Local people are advised they don't need to book an appointment or bring identification.

Staff placed at the entrance of the library will provide the tests, so all you need to do is ask.

Parking is free at the front of the building to those stopping briefly to collect a test.

This venue is being used as a test centre for people who can't work from home, key workers and informal carer for family, friends or neighbours.

People who fall into these categories can receive a free on-site test without booking an appointment in advance.

The test centre is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9.30am to 4.30pm, and on Tuesday and Thursday from 9.30am to 7pm.

The centre is for people without symptoms, anyone with one or more symptom associated with the Coronavirus should should book a test on the NHS website of by calling 119.
