Hospital confirms deaths of man and woman who tested positive for coronavirus

MK Hospital has this afternoon issued a statement about the latest two people to die after testing positive for Covid-19.

A hospital spokesperson, said: “Sadly, we can confirm that two patients who were being cared for at Milton Keynes University Hospital, and had tested positive for

COVID-19, have died."

He added: “A woman, who was 92-years-old, died on Saturday, March 14; and a man in his 90s died on Sunday, March 15. Both had underlying health conditions.The patients are not related or connected to each other.

“Their families have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them during what is undoubtedly a difficult and distressing time.”

The total death toll for coronaviris-infected patients at the hospital is now three.

The first victim was an 83-year-old man who died on March 5 after recently returning from a Carribean cruise.
