The letter, signed by head teacher Donna Christy, was sent out to parents whose children have come into close contact with the infected person and also other affected staff members - they will all now have to self-isolate for 14 days.

The school said parents may find the news 'concerning' but that it is working with Public Health England and continues to monitor the situation.
