Staff at Dovecote Manor care home in Bletchley helped resident Christine compose some words to her children and grandchildren on her 77th birthday.

They filmed her as she stood poignantly at the care home window, holding the words up on sheets of paper to the tune of Elvis singing The Wonder of You.

The words read: "Hello my beautiful family and girls, I miss you all so much and I love you so much. I am safe and well ... with Elvis.

"I want to give you a great big cuddle. I love you so so much. Stay safe."

The film was then sent to Christine's family who added their own heartfelt messages of thanks to Dovecote Manor staff at the end.

They said: "We are so grateful for all your hard work, dedication, patience, kindness and love."
