Today's (April 14) Coronavirus update from the Government, once again marks a week without a confirmed Covid-related death in Milton Keynes

Six new cases were confirmed in Milton Keynes in the past 24 hours. Despite the low case numbers confirmed today, the borough's weekly case numbers have plateaued.

In the past seven days 83 cases have been confirmed, matching the weekly case numbers from the previous data set.

Milton Keynes' infection rate currently sits at 38.2 per 100,000 people. By comparison the national rate has fallen to 28.6 cases per 100,000.

Data for the country as a whole shows 2,491 new cases were confirmed and 38 deaths were recorded.

Latest vaccine figures show 32,326,604 first doses have been delivered in the UK along with 8,170,081 second jabs, meaning well over 40 million have been administered in total.
