Milton Keynes Coronavirus update: Case numbers and death count rises today

There have been 59 new positive tests recorded in the last 24 hours, up from 51 yesterday.

Three new coronavirus-related deaths were confirmed in today's (February 17) update from the UK Government.

The total number of people who have tested positive in Milton Keynes since the start of the pandemic is now 18,604, while the total death toll is 430.

The case rate in Milton Keynes is now down to 128.8 cases per 100,000 people. This remains lower than the average for England, which is 136.5 cases per 100,000 of the population.

Nationally, there were 12,718 new cases today and 738 deaths linked to the virus.
