Milton Keynes' Covid infection rate remains above national average today

Despite only 13 new Covid cases confirmed today, MK's infection rate is still above the UK average.

The local rate rose slightly to 33.4 cases per 100,000 people today. This compares to a rate of 28.7 for the whole of the UK and 28.1 for England

No Covid-linked deaths were recorded today in MK and only 13 were recorded nationally.

Throughout the UK 3,568 cases have been confirmed over the past 24 hours.
