Milton Keynes school hit by Covid-19 outbreak

The Lord Grey Academy, in West Bletchley, has contacted parents about four separate incidents involving positive cases of Covid-19 among students over an eight-day period.
On November 5, the school emailed parents saying a Year 7 pupil had caught the virus.

Hide AdOn November 6, the school alerted parents that a Year 11 student contracted Covid-19.
On November 12, a Year 10 student tested positive.
And on November 13, a Year 8 student tested positive.
In each case a number of students who were directly affected by the positive cases have been forced to self-isolate for 14 days.
Milton Keynes Council has been contacted for more information.
The government's guidance around Covid-19 in schools says that an outbreak can be defined if a school has 'two or more confirmed cases within 14 days'.
