Milton Keynes school refuses to comment after reports of Covid-19 infection

The headteacher of a school in Milton Keynes has declined to answer questions over whether there has been any confirmed cases of Covid-19 despite reports.

Loughton Manor First School headteacher, Daniela Thompson, made 'no comment' after being asked if there has been a confirmed case related to the school.

According to another local media outlet, the school sent a letter out to parents on Thursday (September 17) saying Public Health England confirmed the case.

The letter reportedly goes on to say '[the] only contact with the child was during a pre-admissions visit, with two members of staff'.

According to the media outlet, the affected staff members were sent home and are now self-isolating, while the school remains open.
