Milton Keynes street shows support for NHS and key workers in lovely gesture

Residents in one MK street have put up their own sign to show their appreciation of the NHS and dedicated key workers.

The sign stands proudly in Engaine Drive, Shenley Church End and reads: "We all on Engaine Drive support NHS, carers and key workers. Thank you for your hard work and dedication."

It was made by a young female resident who is a retail worker.

Neighbourhood police officers saw the the sign when they were out patrolling Shenley Church End and they posted a photo on social media.

They said: "Big thank you for the support from local residents on Engaine Drive, Shenley Church End. Made our day when we spotted this whilst out on patrol."

The resident responsible replied: "So pleased you see the sign I made. i just wanted to share the love and appreciation."
