Corina Cleaver has got together with 360 Play to organise a free session of Disney magic, complete with Mickey, Minnie and larger than life princesses and mascots.

"Sadly we can't fulfill your trips. But what we do want to do, completely free of charge, is to try and bring a touch of the magic back and offer a fun filled time, meeting some of your favourite characters, collecting autographs and having your pictures taken with them," she said.

Corina, who runs Corina's Cool Kids Parties in MK, said it made her and her team upset to think of all the children left devastated when their dream trips had to be cancelled.

If the children can't get to Disney, she vowed to bring Disney to MK by creating a mini Disney of characters for them to meet.

"We just had to do something to help," she said.

360 Play offered their venue and the meet and greet event has been arranged for this Thursday, March 19, between 4pm and 5.30pm.

People must provide evidence of their booked Disney trip to gain entry.

"If you know someone who’s missed out on their trip to Disney, please tell them. I will ensure they get to meet Mickey and Minnie and lots of other characters and have a fun time all in MK, for free of charge - my treat." said Corina.

One grateful MK mum said: "I booked Disneyland for April 7 for my little boys 6th Birthday present back in January. It’s been cancelled and he’s absolutely devastated... Thank you."

Another said: "I’m packing away our Disney stuff today so my two little heartbroken girls don’t have to see it anymore . What you are doing is amazing."

The event has also put smiles on the faces of people who were not even planning a Disney trip.

One parent said:: "All I hear about on the news, social media platforms is the negativity surrounding coronavirus and selfish people bulk buying, not following hand washing guidelines , attending hospitals when told to ring 111, care homes on lockdown and people’s holidays being cancelled. Then I come across this random act of kindness... "
