MOT suspension is 'weight off shoulders of drivers' in Milton Keynes

All car owners are to be given a six month exemption on MOTs as from today.
This means cars can continue to be used on the road even if their MOT has expired.

Hide AdThe DVSA had already put in place a three month exemption for heavy goods vehicles and buses but this has now been extended to cars.
Motoring organisations, including the AA and insurance comparison website Confused.com have welcomed the news.
Confused.com's car insurance expert Alex Kindred said: “A six month extension to MOTs is a weight off drivers’ shoulders, particularly for those still relying on their car to carry out essential work or pick up essential items.
“Although, it's important we keep our cars in a roadworthy condition during this time, with garages still open for essential work or repairs.
