Milton Keynes College sent out a letter to parents of students within the Inclusive Learning School, which is based at the Chaffron Way Campus, on Friday (September 18) saying Public Health England (PHE) confirmed a member of the Inclusive Learning management team has tested positive.

The college said the 90 students and staff affected should self-isolate until Thursday, September 24, which is 14 days since the infected person was last in the college.

The letter reads: "Whilst the risk of exposure to students is very minimal, in line with PHE guidance, and with our own safety first approach to the pandemic, we recommend your son/daughter self-isolate.

"We are asking you to do this to reduce the further spread of Covid-19 to others in the community."

The school said students can return if they are well at the end of the 14-day self-isolation period.
