No change in number of coronavirus cases in Milton Keynes

On Monday figures showed the coronavirus infection rate continues to drop in Milton Keynes with just one new positive test recorded between Saturday and Sunday.

And the number of cases - 507 - has remained the same in the last 24 hours.

MK Hospital's death toll of 101 has not changed since 5pm last Thursday.

But the true figure of people who have been infected in MK is still unknown.

Yesterday medical experts have officially added a new symptom - loss of taste and smell.

The four chief medical officers of the UK finally confirmed what many scientists had been saying for weeks – that anosmia, or loss of smell, should be added to the other warning symptoms of a continuous cough and high temperature.
