No Coronavirus-linked deaths in Milton Keynes over weekend, case numbers remain stable

No Coronavirus-linked deaths were confirmed over the weekend edging the city closer to another week without virus-related losses.

In total, 29 new cases were confirmed in the past 48 hours in Milton Keynes

Currently the infection rate for the borough stands at 33.4 cases per 100,000 people. In comparison the national average remains slightly lower, having fallen to 29.9 cases per 100,000.

Nationally, 4,319 new cases of Covid were confirmed in the UK over the weekend. In total, 47 deaths were recorded, where the person had previously been confirmed as Covid positive within 28 days.
