No new coronavirus cases for the third day - and a week without a Covid-19 death in Milton Keynes hospital

And, even better, no patients have died of Covid-19 at Milton Keynes hospital since Thursday last week.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 507 people have tested positive in Milton Keynes and 101 people have died at the hospital.

Last week's figures also showed the infection and death rates were dropping locally.

Nationally the death toll for the past 24 hours dropped slightly to 338, bringing the UK total to 36,042.

The total number of lab-confirmed UK cases since the beginning of the pandemic is 250,908. Today there were 2,615 new cases nationally.
