No new coronavirus cases over the weekend in Milton Keynes

The number of new Covid-19 cases in MK shows no increase - despite an outbreak of 20 new infections at a local nursery.

The government figure for 5pm yesterday (Sunday) remained at 517 lab-confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic.

These official figures show only a handful of new cases in MK since the beginning of June.

Yet last Thursday the city's public health director, together with Milton Keynes Council, announced there had been an outbreak of 20 Covid-19 cases linked to Acorn children's nursery at Westcroft. All the cases had been confirmed over the previous 10 days, they said.
