Number of coronavirus cases jumps to 71 in Milton Keynes

Milton Keynes has 71 confirmed coronavirus cases, up 13 from 58 in the last 24 hours.

The number of positive Covid-19 tests is the official figure released by the government.

Hundreds if not thousands more local people who have not been tested believe they might have already had the potentially deadly virus.

Throughout the UK over 17,000 people have now tested positive and the death toll has risen to 1,079 in the latest figures released at 2pm on Saturday.
