Number of Covid patients receiving treatment in Milton Keynes Hospital revealed

NHS England data shows the number of people being treated in hospital for Covid-19 by 8am on April 13 was 12 - down by one from 13 on the same day the previous week.

The number of beds at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust occupied by people who tested positive for Covid-19 decreased by 81% in the last four weeks – 28 days ago, there were 62.

Across England there were 2,057 people in hospital with Covid as of April 13, with 333 of them in mechanical ventilation beds.

The number of Covid-19 patients hospitalised nationally has decreased by 64% in the last four weeks, while the number on mechanical ventilators has decreased by 62%.

The figures also show that three new Covid patients were admitted to hospital in Milton Keynes during the week to April 11. This was the same number as in the previous seven days.
