Nurses line the corridors to clap as two Covid-19 patients get released from Milton Keynes hospital

In a video that shows how much NHS workers care about their patients, nurses at MK hospital line the corridors to give a round of applause to two patients being discharged after recovering from coronavirus.

MK hospital tweeted the moving tribute yesterday (Thursday), as the nation was clapping for the NHS.

It shows the nurses, still wearing their protective masks and aprons, clapping in delight as two patients are wheeled out in wheechairs,

They said: "You want to clap for #keyworkers, we want to clap for our patients.

"Today two of our patients were discharged from hospital after having spent time in Intensive Care and on Ward 21. Congratulations to Nick and George who have gone home today."
