One new confirmed case of coronavirus today and no new deaths at Milton Keynes hospital

The Milton Keynes Covid-19 infection and fatality rate has continued to slow right down, with only one new positive test reported today.

This brings the city's total up to 501.

For the past two days there have been no coronavirus-linked losses of life at MK hospital, where the death toll since the start of the pandemic stands at 100.

Nationally, the past 24 hours has seen 428 deaths and 3,446 new lab-confirmed Covid-19 cases.

This bring the UK death toll up to 33,614 and the total number of cases to 233,151 since the beginning of the outbreak.
