There has been one new confirmed cases of coronavirus in MK over the past 24 hours.

This brings the total number of local cases to 862 since the beginning of the pandemic. These include Pillar 1 hospital tests and Pillar 2 swabs carried out at testing centres and in the community.

There have been no Covid-linked deaths recorded at MK hospital today.

Nationally the death toll dropped from 85 yesterday to 66 today. But the UK infection rate rose from 538 new cases yesterday to 642 today.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 292,552 and the nation's death toll is 45,119.
