One new Covid-19 death in Milton Keynes but number of infections remain consistent over weekend

There was one new death linked to Covid-19 and 142 new cases over the weekend.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,470 people in MK have tested positive for coronavirus, a rise of 142 since data released on Friday afternoon.

Spread across the weekend the number of positive cases, given increased testing, remains consistent with what we have seen in recent weeks.

One new death has been recorded, though, as confirmed on the official government website.

It brings the total recorded number of deaths in MK since the start of the pandemic to 110.

Nationally, there have now been a total of 1,192,013 positive tests and 51,844 deaths.
