Only 25 people in Milton Keynes have had positive coronavirus tests - and four have died, says Public Health England

Milton Keynes has just 25 people who have officially tested positive for coronavirus, according to Public Health England.

Hundreds more people may have had the virus, but followed NHS advice and stayed at home - thus missing out on official testing.

Four people have died after testing positive for Covid-19 at Milton Keynes Hospital. It is not known whether there have been any more deaths in the local community where the virus has been a factor.

The government figure of 25 for MK compares to 50 cases in the whole of Buckinghamshire and 22 throughout Central Bedfordshire.

The lowest area on the official chart is Kingston upon Hull, where just one positive test is recorded.

The highest is Hampshire with 207 positive. Lambeth and Birmingham are also high, with 188 and 187 cases respectively.
