Only two new confirmed cases of coronavirus in past 24 hours in Milton Keynes

There have been just two more lab-confirmed cases of Covid-19 in MK over the past 24 hours.

But sadly, over the same period, two more patients have died at Milton Keynes hospital after testing positive.

This brings the total number of hospital deaths in MK up to 91.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) the government is due to give a much more clear indication of each area's death toll by including care home deaths in their daily figures.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases throughout the UK today stands at.165,221. This includes 4,076 new cases reported over the past 24 hours.

Over the same period, there has been 765 deaths nationally, making a total of 26,097.
