Meanwhile in Fishermead this afternoon police pounced on a member of the public who was riding a mini dirt bike up and down the footpaths.
Police disputed rising a motorised bike was a form of exercise and also proved the rider was not riding it to a shop to buy basic necessities..
A spokesman said: "Did the rider use the bike to provide care or to help a vulnerable person? Did the rider have insurance? Did the rider have a licence? Was the rider wearing any safety gear? Did the rider know how to control the bike?
"The answer is NO to all of the above."

So the bike has now been sized and the likelihood is that it will be crushed. The rider will be issued with a £300 fine and issued with 6 points on their licence even before they have got one."
