Record high number of new Covid cases for second consecutive day in Milton Keynes today

There has been the highest ever number of new Covid cases in Milton Keynes today (Friday) following on from yesterday's record high of 245

Over the past 24 hours, 272 new people have tested positive in the town. This brings the total number of cases to 5,992 since the start of the pandemic.

There has been one new death over the past 24 hours, with the total now standing at 236.

Yesterday (Thursday), Milton Keynes recorded its highest ever number of people to test positive for Covid (245) as the town was plunged into Tier 3.

28,507 tested positive for Covid in the UK today. There were 489 deaths over the past 24 hours.
