A hospital spokesman said: "Our thoughts and condolences remain with their families and loved ones at this difficult time."

Figures from Public Health England show there are today (Saturday) 71 people in Milton Keynes who have tested positive, compared to 115 throughout the rest of Buckinghamshire.

The Milton Keynes figure has trebled in three days, but it still only reflects the people who have been tested. Currently only patients who present at MK hospital are being tested , so the number of people infected in the community is unknown.

MK hospital bosses say they have "robust plans" in place to meet the ongoing demand of COVID-19 and they have created additional capacity to provide care to suspected and confirmed Covid-19 cases.
