Six more patients with coronavirus die at Milton Keynes hospital

The death toll of patients who tested positive for Covid-19 at Mk hospital today stands at 45 since the beginning of the pandemic last month.

This is an increase of six over the past 48 hours.

Today's figure for the number of people who have tested positive in MK is 239 - and increase of 18 from yesterday.

Nationally, the number of confirmed cases have risen by 5,195 to 70,272.

Today's death toll throughout the UK is 980.

The figures only cover people who were tested in hospital and people who died in hospital after testing positive.

The number of untested cases in the community is still unknown, as is the number of deaths in care homes.
