Special needs school in Milton Keynes reportedly forced to close due to Covid-19 infection

According to another local media outlet, The Walnuts School's Hazeley Campus closed on Thursday (October 8).
Parents were reportedly told on Wednesday (October 7) the school had a confirmed case of coronavirus. A letter was sent out to the people who came into close contact with the infected person advising them to self-isolate.

Hide AdHowever, the next day (Thursday), when those who were not affected and supposed to attend school arrived, they were reportedly immediately sent home as the building needed to be deep-cleaned.
According to the other media outlet, the school will be closed until Monday (October 12) and pupils who are self-isolating will return on Thursday, October 15.
Milton Keynes Council has been contacted for a comment.
