The total cumulative number of vaccines administered in Milton Keynes is 60,597.

Data released by NHS England today (February 25) is accurate up to February 21.

The breakdown available on NHS England's website shows 35,617 people aged over 65 in the city have received their first doses of a vaccine protecting against the Coronavirus.

So far, 21,728 people aged under 65 have received their first doses in MK.

Second doses of a Covid vaccine have been given to 1,817 citizens over 65 and 1,435 under 65.

Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (BLMK CCG) announced today they are currently administering first doses for priority group 6. Also, people given their first jab in early March can expect invitations to return for a second dose protecting against the Coronavirus.

BLMK CCG also released a statement thanking the volunteers and workers for their role in helping with the project so far. With 188,000 vaccines having now been administered in the region.

Across the UK 18,691,835 first doses have been administered, 700,718 people have received second jabs.
