Two more coronavirus cases confirmed in Milton Keynes today

The cases bring the city's total to 871 since the start of the pandemic. This includes Pillar 2 tests in the community as well as Pillar 1 tests through the hospital.
There have been no deaths at MK hospital, where the last Covid-linked fatality took place three weeks ago, on July 4.

Hide AdThese statistics place Milton Keynes close to the bottom of a list of 315 local authorities in the UK, based of the total number of cases per 100,000 population.
Nationally the Covid death toll rose from just seven yesterday to 119 today.
There have been 581 new lab-confirmed UK cases nationally during the same period, bringing the total to 300,692.
The nation's death toll now stands at 45,878.
