Two more people have tested positive for coronavirus in MK

The total number of local positive tests since the beginning of the pandemic is now 858.

These now include 'pillar two' results from testing centres and home tests as well as the hospital's official figures.

There have been no more Covid-linked deaths at MK hospital.

Nationally, the death rate dropped to 21 between Saturday and Sunday but there were 650 new cases confirmed during that time.

The total UK death toll is now 44,819 and the total number of lab-confirmed UK cases is 289,603.

The updated figures for today will be published later this afternoon.
