Two new coronvirus cases confirmed in Milton Keynes over the weekend

The weekend saw two new Covid-19 cases confirmed in MK.

This brings the city's total to 879 since the start of the pandemic.

Nationally there were 744 new cases confirmed. But the death toll yesterday (Sunday) was eight - one of the lowest numbers since before lockdown.

The total number of Covid-19 associated deaths in the UK is currently 46,201.

The national and local figures are due to be updated by the government later today.
