Video shows police officers paying an emotional tribute to workers at Milton Keynes hospital

Police officers and police cars congreagted outside Milton Keynes hospital at 8pm last night (Thursday) to pay a moving  tribute to the NHS workers.

The video shows officers flashing the blue lights of the cars and clapped and cheered to show their appreciation.

A police spokesman said: "Officers stopped by MKUH to show their support for the NHS workers in Hospital and SCAS. Thank you for all your hard work. We’re proud to work alongside you."

Meanwhile intu shopping centre was lit up in blue as its own tribute to the workers.

Thoughout Milton Keynes, people stood on their doorsteps to clap. One lorry firm even arranged a procession of vehicles to drive through Newport Pagnell with their lights flashing and horns tooting.
