Whole year group at Milton Keynes school forced to self-isolate

A whole year group at a primary school in Milton Keynes has been forced to self-isolate after a member of staff tested positive for Covid-19.

Broughton Fields Primary School, in Milton Road, reportedly contacted parents over the weekend (Saturday, September 26) to warn them of the news.

The school said in a statement: "We can confirm that a single midday supervisor has tested positive for Covid-19. We are following all government guidance including isolating one affected year group bubble.

"We are working closely with Public Health England and Milton Keynes Council to safeguard our school community. Parents and carers will continue to receive regular updates.”
