Year 8 students at the Ousedale School's Newport Pagnell campus have been forced to self-isolate following a 'high number' of coronavirus cases, according to another local media outlet.

Some Year 8 students are already in self-isolation following last week's outbreak, according to the other media outlet.

Last week's outbreak saw a number of students and two members of staff at the school test positive for the virus, according to Milton Keynes Council.

Parents whose children were not already self-isolating were reportedly contacted on Monday (October 26) telling them that their child must stay at home, which has apparently led to the isolation of the whole year group.

Milton Keynes Council has been contacted for comment.
