Low Coronavirus case numbers revealed for Milton Keynes this weekend

The latest data released by the Government yesterday (April 25) shows a continued downward trend when it comes to Covid cases in Milton Keynes.

Only 13 new Coronavirus cases were revealed in Milton Keynes across the weekend. On Saturday, five new positive cases were confirmed, on Sunday, eight new people contracted the virus.

Once again no Covid-linked deaths were reported across the borough.

The city's infection rate remains low, currently standing at 24.4 cases per 100,000. This remains narrowly below the national average which is 24.7 cases per 100,000.

Overall, 3,773 new positive tests were returned in the UK this weekend. In total 43 more deaths were recorded where that person had previously tested positive for Covid in the past 28 days.
