Milton Keynes Coronavirus case numbers stable over the weekend and no new deaths announced

It is now five straight days where no deaths linked to the virus have been confirmed in the borough.

The number of new Coronavirus cases reported over the past 48 hours is 39.

Updates from the UK government saw 31 new cases announced on Saturday March 13 and just eight yesterday (March 14).

Milton Keynes current infection rate is 75 cases per 100,000 people. The case rate in the city continues to trail behind the UK average which now stands at 58.7 per 100,000.

Nationally over the weekend 10,152 new cases of Covid were reported and 173 deaths linked to the disease were confirmed.
