No Coronavirus-linked deaths over weekend in Milton Keynes, new case numbers remain low

Coronavirus figures in Milton Keynes released yesterday (March 21) show 31 new Covid cases were confirmed over the weekend.

No deaths were confirmed in the area linked to a positive Covid test in the past 48 hours.

The infection rate in Milton Keynes now stands at 61.2 cases per 100,000 people. This remains higher than the national average which stands at 58.1 per 100,000.

In the UK 9,607 new cases linked to the virus were confirmed over the weekend, 41 deaths were recorded.
