The former home of Britain’s World War Two codebreakers was beautifully lit up with colours, codes, patterns and symbols found in Islamic art and mathematics.

Designs made by artists, community groups and students from Shenley Brook End School and MK College were projected onto the building and grounds for all to see.

MKIAC founder Anouar Kassim MBE said: “Digital Light: Code Makers at Bletchley Park was an amazing project that was rooted in the community of Milton Keynes, drawing links to the local heritage of Bletchley Park. The imagery was incredibly vibrant and exciting with many people witnessing the installation projected onto the iconic Mansion. We hope that as the country faces much crisis in the days and weeks ahead, we are sending out a positive message of peace, unity and collaboration within our communities.”

Rebecca Foy, Director of Public Engagement at Bletchley Park said: “The evenings were a great success with hundreds of people enjoying the projections around the grounds and on the Mansion. It was a very special and inspirational project to be a part of, and we were privileged to host this.”
