All round to Cleo’s!

It’s week two of Music in the Garden this weekend, when Dame Cleo Laine invites us to enjoy stunning live music in an equally stunning location – her back garden!

This celebratory year – the 15th annual event of type – is once again bursting with an assortment of music, and events all with the quality factor confirmed.

On Saturday, visitors will be treated to Elaine Delmar, a singer fondly regarded for her sublime delivery of material taken from The Great American Songbook.

“Quite simply, Elaine is one of the greatest female jazz vocalists to have come from these shores,” say those behind Saturday’s event, “An incredibly sumptuous performance of world class music is guaranteed.”

Michael Parkinson is a fan: “One of the ageless, evergreen singing stars that we have … as beautiful and talented as ever… she’s marvellous!” he says.

Elaine will be joined by her quartet for Saturday’s performance, which is yours to enjoy from11.30am.
