Fairway to Heaven is the title of the work being delivered by Tread the Boards Theatre Group, and you really do need to get a wriggle on if you want to soak in the action-packed farce – it begins a two night stage stay tonight.
Here’s the gist: When Trevor breaks a priceless artifact belonging to his wife, he ropes his best friend Bob into covering his tracks by staging a burglary at his own home.
The only trouble is that on the same night, the house is the target of real burglars AND his mother-in-law is staging a murder mystery with a few of her elderly friends.
Just how much chaos can ensue from Trevor’s determination not to take the blame?
The work, from the pen of the late playwright Diana Raffle, is being shown at The Chrysalis Theatre, Japonica Lane, Willen park South.
Performances begin at 7.30pm both nights and tickets are on sale at £10 for adults, £8 for concessions.
