The club is hosting the first Brickstock Festival, ‘a live music event with a variety of entertainment for adults and kids,’ organisers promise.

Money raised will be going to Cancer Research UK, so don’t be afraid to open those wallets.

Live music will come courtesy of Top Banana, The Catch, Hitsville, Soul Fever, The Riff, T6 and Big Mistry during Sunday’s eight-hour bash, which begins at 1pm.

Fans of Leighton-based parody band The Barron Knights will be in luck too - Butch Baker is compere.

The family affair will benefit from food stalls and kids entertainment, and a beer tent will help refresh the parts of adults that soda doesn’t reach.

Ticketss are on sale at £10 for adults, £6 for 12-17 year olds (under 12s go free) and you can get yours right away by clicking to www.ticketsource.co.uk/brickhillcricket
