Wolverton’s Creed Street Arts Centre (which will forever by Madcap in this mind) hosts Carabosse: Real Ale and Drama Shots 2, from Thursday evening.
The night is as good as it is eclectic: Visitors will meet a bag lady who is not all she seems, encounter a pair of angels who find humour in the creation of the world, witness a London-based break up, and watch how a writer constructs and deconstructs his own take on an old joke.
You’ll also be able to see what happens on the ‘other side’ of a suicide, eavesdrop on a conversation between a man and his better half and learn how not to communicate with someone through a letter box.
See, it’s eclectic, for sure!
The drama side will be interspersed with live sounds coming from acclaimed MK singer-songwriter Steve Winch, and ‘chip off the old block’, son Danny, who will also be acting in a couple of the plays.
Get ready for a compelling, provoking evening.
Carabosse airs nightly through to Saturday.
Doors, and the bar, open at 7pm.
