UPDATE: Milton Keynes junction closed after six vehicle pile-up
Bedfordshire Police are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision involving five cars and a lorry.
The incident happened on the A421 near Junction 13 of the M1 and police were called at 10.45am.
The ambulance and fire and rescue service are also currently at the scene.
Both lanes are currently closed and motorists are advised to find an alternative route.
